My Journey Path

About

Meet Mason.

Founder, facilitator, licensed clinician.

Mason Dover is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas with a Master of Education degree. He spent years working in clinical settings before noticing the same thing over and over: the people who came through his door were lonely. Not always depressed. Not always anxious. Just disconnected.

So he started building something else.

My Journey Path began with a simple idea: what if we made it easier for adults to find a small group of people they could actually know? Not a networking event. Not a one-time workshop. Not an app. A group. The same group, every week, doing something real together.

What I believe.

Connection is medicine.

The research is clear: chronic loneliness has the same mortality impact as smoking. But the cure isn't a pill or a worksheet — it's other people, in the same room, over time.

Small groups, not crowds.

Six to ten people who keep showing up beats a hundred who don't. The relationships are the product.

The work happens between sessions.

Real change shows up when you try the new thing, fail, and bring it back to a group that knows you. The group makes the experiment safe.

Coaching, not therapy.

I'm trained as a clinician, and I bring that depth to every group. But these spaces are coaching, not treatment. If you need therapy, I'll help you find a great therapist.

What this is. And isn't.

My Journey Path is coaching, not therapy. We don't treat clinical mental health conditions. If you're looking for therapy, we'll help you find a qualified clinician — and it won't be us.
